yyyyye2<yyyyye2@hotmail.com> 5:45:55 PM今天上午10:00,由美国外教Ms Rose 主讲课文:A Butterfly Grows |
yyyyye2<yyyyye2@hotmail.com> 5:46:10 PMA butterfly Grows by Stephen Swinburne Can you see me on the plant? I am a little caterpillar! I grew in an egg. Then I hatched! Wind fills the air. I hang onto a branch so I don’t fall. Rain falls. It plips and plops. I need to drink water. I drink the small drops. This plant is my food. I need food so I can grow. I eat this plant for lunch. Chomp, chomp! Crunch, munch! I eat and grow, eat and grow. Now I am big! My skin is snug I look for a spot to rest. Soon I will shed my skin. At last I am a chrysalis. I’m an inch long. Then in ten days, out I come Look at me now! I am an insect. I have six legs. My wings help me fly. Watch me fly! I like to fly with all my friends. Wings help us play. Wings help us to go find plants for food. Watch me eat now! I sip and sip. I am a butterfly! I’m a beautiful butterfly! |
脱口美语ITALKBAY<italkbay@gmail.com> 5:59:44 PMGood morning, everyone! We are about to start our class today. Today we are going to be a student in the first grade in elementary school. |
脱口美语ITALKBAY<italkbay@gmail.com> 6:00:17 PMWe are going to learn how a caterpillar grow into a butterfly! |
脱口美语ITALKBAY<italkbay@gmail.com> 6:00:43 PMTeacher Rose will host the class today. |
Rose<rosehansen@gmail.com> 6:00:47 PMHello, everyone! My name is Rose. I'm very happy to be your teacher tonight! Sometimes I will ask questions, and I would like you to try to answer them! For a teacher, a wrong answer is better than no answer at all. You can ask questions at any time. I can also speak Chinese, so if you can't figure out how to answer or ask in English, I can help translate from Chinese to English. :) |
脱口美语ITALKBAY<italkbay@gmail.com> 6:00:49 PMHi Rose! |

Rose<rosehansen@gmail.com> 6:02:29 PM"Can you see me on the plant? I am a little caterpillar! I grew in an egg. Then I hatched!" |
Rose<rosehansen@gmail.com> 6:02:49 PM |
Rose<rosehansen@gmail.com> 6:03:37 PMThe first sentence is a question. If we switch the subject "you" and the first verb "can", we make a statement into a question. |

Rose<rosehansen@gmail.com> 6:04:43 PMA caterpillar is a type of worm. Before a butterfly is a butterfly, it is a caterpillar (it looks like a worm). May got the translation right. |
Rose<rosehansen@gmail.com> 6:05:04 PM |
Rose<rosehansen@gmail.com> 6:05:56 PMHatched is a special word. It is what animals do to get out of an egg. A caterpillar hatches from an egg. A chicken hatches from an egg. (A dog cannot ever hatch, because it doesn't begin in an egg!) |
